How does Cythrin Plus 55 EC work ?
Chloropyrifos: Less soluble in water, binds strongly to soil, it penetrates the skin and lungs of insects and helps to kill them. Contact with insects causes stomach poisoning. It attacks the insect's nervous system and inhibits the release of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme, killing the insect.
Cypermethrin: When an insect comes in contact with or ingests cypermethrin, it causes poisoning. The toxin penetrates the insect's nerve cells, causing paralysis and death.

স্পর্শক, পাকস্থলীয় ক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন, ফিউমিগেন্টস জাতীয় কীটনাশক । এর প্রতি কেজিতে সক্রিয় উপাদান হিসাবে ৫০০ গ্রাম ক্লোরোপাইরিফস এবং ৫০ গ্রাম সাইপারমেথ্রিন বিদ্যমান ।

ক্লোরোপাইরিফসঃ পানিতে কম দ্রবণীয়, মাটির সাথে দৃঢ়ভাবে আবদ্ধ হয়, এটি পোকামাকড়ের ত্বকও ফুসফুসে প্রবেশ করেবিষক্রিয়া ঘটিয়ে এদেরকে মেরে ফেলতে সাহায্য করে । পোকামাকড় এর সংস্পর্শে আসলে পাকস্থলিতে (Stomach) বিষক্রিয়া ঘটায় । এটি পোকার নার্ভ সিস্টেমকে আক্রমণ করে অ্যাসিটাইলকোলিনেজটারেজ (AChE) এনজাইম নিঃসরণে বাধা দেয় এতে পোকামাকড় মারা যায়।
সাইপারমেথ্রিনঃ যখন কোন পোকামাকড় সাইপারমেথ্রিনের সংস্পর্শে আসে অথবা ভক্ষণ করে তখন এটি বিষক্রিয়া ঘটায়। বিষটি পোকামাকড়ের স্নায়ু কোষে প্রবেশ করে, এতে পোকামাকড় প্যারালাইসিস হয়ে মারা যায়।
